Soma Osteopatia
In the northern outskirts of Milan, within the Redevelopment of the former Breda industrial area on Viale Sarca, a historic and architectural restoration project covering approximately 2,000 square meters, has been designed to house an Osteopathy Institute with a capacity of around 250 students, along with offices, practical training clinics, and other educational facilities.
Location: Milan, Area Bicocca. Italy
Classrooms have been designed to accommodate up to 40 students, characterized by a simple and functional layout; each pair of students shares one treatment table for practice and hands-on training.
Large windows provide abundant natural light, enhancing the space and conveying to students a sense of tranquility and security that supports the learning process.
We chose to use white, in a warm shade, not only because white contains all colors (and all emotions), but also because it symbolizes a starting point, a blank page on which to write a new beginning, much like a learning journey itself.
We designed a coordinated graphic communication using the company’s brand red, which can be seen throughout the spaces, on both the walls and the floors.
A simple, direct language, typical of “directional signage,” that metaphorically “takes each student by the hand” and guides them to their place.
