Il giardino del Moro Rosso

In this “Shelter Home,” the use of vegetation and trees serves not only an ornamental purpose but also provides privacy for the residents as they sunbathe or cool off in the water, shielding them from prying eyes. Additionally, it helps mitigate the impact of the summer sun on the house, keeping it cooler.

Location: Lentate Sul Seveso (MB). Italy

The garden hosts a wide variety of tree species, ensuring character and vibrancy in every season of the year.

The climbing jasmine, a shrub from the Apocynaceae family, is a lush evergreen that was chosen to shield the side of the garden most exposed to view and noise.

At the clients’ request, two centuries-old olive trees from selected nurseries were planted: one of the branched variety and one of the Pon Pon variety, which stands like a sculpture with its distinctive “disc-shaped” crown at the edge of the pool.

Completing the variety of tree species are numerous succulents of various shapes and sizes, from “Saguaro” cacti to the “Mother-in-law’s Cushion”; in addition to these, a beautiful Washingtonia palm stands tall at the center of the garden.
